Long range planning documents, 1990.

The long range planning documentation is the Department of Post-Secondary Education's contribution to a statewide information systems plan which will provide a "roadway' for the future information systems and information technology in the Alabama College System. Information system activities are documented in the following phases: initial planning; analysis of current departmental and information systems operations; design, definition and development of information systems solutions; development of application, technological, data and organizational plans; and management review and approval. Information available in this series includes goals and objectives of the department and the college system, and supporting narrative development to achieve the statewide system. This series is also known as LRISP by the dept. staff.
